Four Stroke header pipes typically run at higher temperatures (up to 900 degrees F)than two stroke pipes. When a header pipe gets that hot it can ding easily. E Line’s four stroke pipe guards protect the header pipes from roost dings as well as protect pants and boots from burns.
Four stroke guards for most stock pipes use standard welded on tabs. E Line fabricated aluminum brackets are used on aftermarket pipes without mounting tabs.
