The Power Bomb is a four-stroke header system that incorporates FMF's patented Power Bomb module at a precise location in the initial stage of the header system. By positioning the bomb at this point in the system, increased performance and flow is achieved.
The Power Bomb lowers the sound output because it creates more surface area for the exhaust to become absorbed by. The surface area of the perforated core lets the sound exit into the absorbing steel wool packing and then allows the air to expand, cool, and ramp back up.
The FMF Power Bomb is instrumental in producing a power increase via scientific flow characteristics. Through the expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics through the system, the flow is increased by nearly 10%.
